दून में अकेले रह रही बुजुर्ग महिला की गला रेतकर हत्या कर दी गई। पुलिस प्रथम दृष्टया लूट के बाद हत्या की आशंका जता रही है। बहरहाल, शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भिजवा दिया गया है। उधर, देर शाम पटेलनगर पुलिस ने महिला की बेटी की तहरीर पर हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस के अनुसार, कमलेश धवन (75 वर्ष) पटेलनगर के भंडारीबाग इलाके में अकेले रहती थीं। उनके पति की करीब दस साल पहले मौत हो चुकी है। कमलेश की तीन बेटियां हैं। जबकि, बेटे और बहू की भी मौत हो चुकी है। पोती शादी के बाद से अमेरिका में रहती है। शनिवार सुबह कमलेश को वसंत विहार में रहने वाली बेटी विनीता ने कॉल की, मगर फोन नहीं उठा। काफी प्रयास के बाद भी जब फोन नहीं उठा तो विनीता ने मां के घर के पास टेलर की दुकान चलाने वाले शरीफ अहमद को मौके पर जाने को कहा। शरीफ ने गेट से आवाज लगाई तो घर से प्रतिक्रिया नहीं मिली। उसने अंदर जाकर देखा तो लॉबी में खून से लथपथ शव पड़ा था। इसके बाद वसंत विहार से विनीता का बेटा संस्कार मौके पर पहुंचा और पुलिस को फोन किया गया। सूचना पर डीआईजी दलीप सिंह कुंवर, एसपी सिटी सरिता डोबाल और एसपी क्राइम सर्वेश पंवार मौके पर पहुंचे। महिला का गला रेता गया था। डोबाल ने बताया कि संभवत शुक्रवार रात हत्या की गई होगी। कमरे का सामान अस्त-व्यस्त था। संभवत रात को कोई व्यक्ति घर में घुसा। दून पुलिस तमाम पहलुओं पर भी जांच कर रही है।
