देहरादून निवासी एवं archquake desingners के संचालक श्री डीके सिंह ने अपने जुनून के जरिये ऐसा ही कुछ कर दिखाया है। दरअसल, पहली बार उत्तराखंड की किसी आर्किटेक्ट फर्म को NBCC यानी national building construction corporation का प्रोजेक्ट हासिल हुआ है। श्री सिंह बताते हैं कि वे पिछले पांच सालों से बेहद शिद्दत के साथ nbcc के प्रोजेक्ट को प्राप्त करने के प्रयास में लगे थे। शुरू में उन्हें निराशा भी हाथ लगी लेकिन उन्होंने हिम्मत और उम्मीद दोनों नहीं छोड़ी। इस बार भी जब nbcc की ओर से यह competition सार्वजनिक हुआ तो उन्होंने आवेदन किया। इसमें तमाम अन्य राज्यों से भी फर्मों ने आवेदन किया। आखिरकार, इस बार वह क्षण आ ही गया जब nbcc ने उत्तराखंड की किसी आर्किटेक्ट फर्म को अपना प्रोजेक्ट प्रदान किया। देहरादून में ही शुरू होने वाले इस प्रोजेक्ट को लेकर श्री सिंह बेहद उत्साहित हैं। उनका कहना है कि उत्त्तराखण्ड में आर्किटेक्ट बेहद प्रतिभाशाली हैं। यह उपलब्धि केवल उनकी नहीं बल्कि पूरे उत्त्तराखण्ड की है। आपको बता दें कि nbcc केवल भारत भर ही नहीं बल्कि overseas में भी एक जाना पहचाना नाम है।
